Have a peek at Peekaboo!

We're very excited by the latest release of Imadagen Dimity stamps... they're gorgeous! All available to buy on the fingertipcrafts.net website, here's a peek at the peekaboo stamp! If you click on the pictures on the website, you can see much bigger pics!

Things are getting busy in the shop again after our 2 week holiday, just another 50 weeks, then we get another fortnight off!!! All the cards are ready for Saturdays workshop, we'll be using my favourite glimmer mists (I love them), lots of stamps, new folding techniques, amazing acetates and lots more - lots of fun :-)

Is it really only about 6 weeks till Christmas???? It feels like we've been preparing for Christmas for so long, but now I feel very unprepared.... We've just started our Christmas card swap list on the forum, and I'm really looking forward to seeing lots of scrummy, lovely cards!

I'm planning to do some crafting for myself now that the workshops and classes are winding down for the year end. I've been making Christmas cards this afternoon, but was soon distracted into doing some embossing with Debbie Moore's metal magic... yummmmm... sparkles!!!! I've started covering a Maya Road chipboard house book, and would like to spend some time on it tomorrow, it's helping with my addiction to stamping, particularly the Song Bird set from TJ Designs . I haven't had a chance to play with the Sarah Kay Christmas collection yet... never enough hours in the day.... maybe fit that in too!

I have to sneakily say that we've had quite a bit of excitement today... Andy and I have had our first preview of the next batch of Dimity Imadagen Stamps - they're brilliant, and we're really excited!

Brand New Site

Woo hoo!!!!! We are so thrilled with our new Fingertips web site. We're still staying up till the wee hours putting more stock on, and slashing prices, but we're getting there and it's very exciting!

There's so much more to it, it's faster, easier to navigate, has more features (look out for our freebie downloadables, once we get sorted!!!)

Oh well... back to putting more stock on!

Exciting Times!

What a lax blogger I've been... but then it has been the summer... apparently!

We've been working our socks off at Fingertips, it's been so hectic with soooo much new stock, especially keeping up with all the latest Sizzix releases, and so many new stamps. We also have so many new classes and workshops running, including a new stampaholics club in the shop, which includes a new stamp to add to your collection!

Our most exciting development has been the arrival of the brand new range of stamps - Imadagen Stamps. The first collection to be released is the Dimity Christmas Collection. Four absolutely gorgeous stamps featuring Dimity Mouse. They're all available for pre ordering at www.fingertipcrafts.co.uk

Here's one that will shortly be featuring in Simply Cards and Papercrafts magazine!

Fantasy Time

I've really enjoyed playing with fantasy film and fantasy fibres recently - fibres being my favourite! I love this range of 'lady' stamps (used them for quite a few different things now), and adore how their dresses look when stamped in fantasy fibres. I think I need to collect more colours... in the name of experimentation of course... lol!!!

Here's a butterfly from the film, need to incorpporate it into my fairy images I think!

One of our customers was chatting to me in the shop last week (Fingertips is a nice chatty place), and was telling me how she'd told someone else about buying her craft supplies from her friend who has a craft shop. Just an off the cuff remark, from a really lovely lady, who I'm honoured to have consider me a friend. It's the little things that can make a day feel so good!

I'm an Auntie!!!!

Woo hoo... bean is finally here, and is a baby girl (much to Imogen's delight). I've only seen a photo so far, and can't wait to actually see her at the weekend and give her a lovely cuddle, lots of presents, and take lots of photos so I can scrap them!

Finally did some scrapping this afternoon, couple of photos that have been waiting to be done for a while. Starry vellum doesn't really show up in the first one, enjoyed stamping the flourishes everywhere on the second one!

Beautiful Day

What a brilliant week it's been! The sun is shining, I've made lots of cards, have next month's workshop completely organised (no mean feat!!), the garden is looking good (and it's been so nice to go home from work and sit out in it every evening), and it's looking quite like I may become an Auntie today... fingers crossed, but if not today it'll be tomorrow!!!

Here's a card I made with one of my new Gruffies, think this one makes a good man's card.

Love my Penny Blacks, and this wee hedgie one is one of my favourites. The card wasn't completely square, which caused a few grrrs, but find it so relaxing painting!!!!

And a sweet little bunny too.

Just love this stamp, makes me think about one of my best pals... lol!

And here's a couple more I made this week
