What is IP Camera?
IP Camera is one kind of Security System Camera like CCTV Camera (Close Circuit Television Camera). You may also called it as IP Network Camera or Internet Protocol Network Camera. It's called IP Camera because each camera has a Unique IP Address. So you can access and control an IP Camera via Internet. You just need to type http://192.168.1.11 or something like this in the browsers Address Bar to access your targeted IP Camera. But don't worry others won't be able to access your IP Camera, because it will be Password Protected. There is a great difference between IP Cameras and CCTV Cameras. You will be able to only see the live videos on a screen what is connected with wire with the total system. But you need not any wired connection to see the live videos if you use IP Camera instead of CCTV Camera. You may also watch the live video in your Laptop, PDA or Mobile Phone if you use IP Camera. You may watch the Live Video from anywhere of the world. You just need to connect your system with Internet. And most importantly the cost is not so high than the CCTV Camera.

Look there are 10 IR around the lens what will help you to see the video in dark night. There is also a LED Light what will blink all the time to inform you that it is working. You may also keep it turned off if you want. There is two built in Speaker just in both side of the main part of the Camera. There is also a output jack at the backside. A mic is present at the front part so that the user's voice can reach to others. RJ45 Connector Point is at the backside of this IP Camera. This Camera will be connected with network through this Connector Point. This IP Camera is available with 3.6 mm and 6 mm lens. This Camera is able to pan/tilt in 180 degree angle. |
